You Are Somebody

I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.

Psalm 139:14

As I have said before, I will never in a million years understand why anyone would want to chose atheism. Although many people—atheists included—deny Christ because He requires them to “deny [themselves], and take up [their] cross, and follow [Him]” (Matthew 16:24), professing to be an atheist is saying that one is altogether worthless. Atheism says that life is completely and utterly pointless. You live and then you die and that’s it—some life that is. If I were an atheist I would never get out of bed because my life would have no purpose at all. However, I am here to tell you today that there is a Creator and you do have a purpose in this life.

This world did not happen by chance. You were not born by coincidence. Ethel Waters, who was born out of wedlock, famously said, “I know I’m somebody because God don’t make no junk.” Not a blade of grass moves without God’s permission. You are somebody. You are here for a reason. Start living like it!

If you are an atheist, I know that by claiming to be no better than the animals, you think that you can do whatever you want and get away with it. However, there is a God and He will hold you accountable on Judgment Day. I will also tell you that He loves you and He wants you to be saved.

I marvel at the fact that He would call me His own. I will never understand why the King of the universe would want to be associated with me, but He does. The Bible tells us that, if we will trust Him, we will become the children of God (John 1:12).Do you know Him today? I want nothing more for you than for you to know Him and to know the joy of knowing that Almighty God would call you His own. If you do not know Him today, repent of your sin and confess Jesus Christ as Lord, and He will save you today and keep you saved forever.

My friend, at this point I can only say that your delusion is too deep to ford at any point. Please don't think I am being insulting when I say I have read some of the most insipid and foolish assertations ever put to print here on your blog. I do not fault you too much for they are obviously not your own; I've seen them all before. You are a perfect example of a mind whose powers of reason have been utterly compromised by dogma. Say an Everlasting "Yes!" to Jesus Today

As mentioned before, I have a number of reasons for having this blog; however, my main goal is for those who do not know Jesus Christ as Lord to come to know Him before it is eternally too late for them. If you do not know Him personally, listen closely.

I often say that the ultimate reality of life is this: God created, I sinned against Him, and then Jesus Christ saved my sorry soul. If you are here today and think you do not need to be saved, you are sadly mistaken. Adrian Rogers said, "There is no one so good that he need not be saved; and there is no one so bad that he cannot be saved."

The Bible says in Romans 3:23 that "all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." If you have ever lied, stolen, or taken God's name in vain, you are guilty of sinning against the most high God. But it does not stop at that. Jesus said that even if we look with lust at another person, we have committed adultery in our heart--God even sees what others cannot. God is a holy and righteous Judge and will not let any who are guilty enter His Kingdom of Heaven.

This means that, if you have broken God's holy Law even once, you will be in big trouble come Judgment Day. However, two thousand years ago God made provision for you and me when He sent His one and only Son, Jesus Christ, to be born of a virgin and later die on an old, rugged cross for all the sins of the world. Friend, not only were you on His mind that day, but He was in your place.

Jesus died so that you may be set free--He took your punishment so that you would not have to. And if you will turn from your sin and trust in Christ alone to save you, He will save you today and keep you saved forever. So please say "no" to sin and an everlasting "yes" to Jesus, today!
