"The key to understanding the Bible is to look for Jesus in the Bible. Jesus is the hero of the Bible. If you read the Bible and don't find Jesus, re-read it! The Bible has one hero, His name is Jesus; one villain, that is Satan; one problem, that is sin; one solution, that is salvation. That is what the Bible is all about." -Dr. Adrian Rogers

Proof of the Reality of God: Day 4

This is the fourth and final day of our journey through only a few of the absolute proofs of the Bible. My prayer is that you have realized how scientifically accurate the Bible really is. As you read this excerpt from Adrian Rogers's devotional What Every Christian Ought to Know, please pay close attention to the second paragraph.

As long as he has the infection; he is unclean.
He must live alone in a place outside the camp.
Leviticus 13:46

During what came to be known as the "black plague" of the fourteenth century, one out of every four people in Europe died. They didn't know what to do with it. They couldn't control it. They had no concept of microbiology like we have now. Do you know what finally brought the plague to an end? The Bible! They learned to quarantine from the Word of God.
I have only touched the surface over the past few days of the many medical and scientific truths obtained in the Bible. Frankly, I'm glad the Bible and modern science don't always agree. Science changes. The Bible--never!

  1. Hi,pal. Good day for you..
Probably you miss this when you quote Adrain Roger.
    Leviticus talk about Leprosy.
"is a chronic disease caused by the bacteria Mycobacterium leprae"

"black Plague" is known as Bubonic plague. It is a zoonotic disease, circulating mainly among small rodents and their fleas.

May be you are a little confused about this diseases. It's not the same.

And how do you heal from the plague? vaccines through science created. It is no use praying.

    Also. Leviticus 14,4-8 says:
"then the priest shall give orders to take two live clean birds and cedar wood and a scarlet string and hyssop for the one who is to be cleansed.
The priest shall also give orders to slay the one bird in an earthenware vessel over running water
As for the live bird, he shall take it together with the cedar wood and the scarlet string and the hyssop, and shall dip them and the live bird in the blood of the bird that was slain over the running water
He shall then sprinkle seven times the one who is to be cleansed from the leprosy and shall pronounce him clean, and shall let the live bird go free over the open field.
The one to be cleansed shall then wash his clothes and shave off all his hair and bathe in water and be clean. Now afterward, he may enter the camp, but he shall stay outside his tent for seven days"

All this have any sense to you? why don't use this method now?..

Bible gives no scientific mechanism against the plague or other disease, just sets them apart and if they are alive after seven days, then allowed to return.

This Leviticus' chapters talk about medical matters, please give some credits to mankind... Not all we know is inspirated.
