If you have been reading my blog for very long, you know that I like to suggest books every now and then that I think may be of some help to you in your personal walk with the Lord. I recently finished reading In God We Trust by Steve Ham. I must admit to you that the book challenged me more than I even thought possible. I bought the book expecting to learn more about evangelism and biblical authority. I did learn about those things, but I also realized that there is a lot more to evangelism and biblical authority than I thought.
In this book, Steve Ham talks about almost every subject you can imagine. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to better understand their purpose in life. If you want to learn more about God's plan for evangelism, read this book. If you want to learn more about God's plan for marriage, read this book. If you want to learn more about God's plan for parenting, read this book. If you want to learn more about God's plan for the Church as a whole, read this book.
I recently saw a bumper sticker that said, "BE THE CHURCH!" I think that was Steve Ham's main focus in writing this book--to teach people that the Church is the body of Christ. God used In God We Trust in a great and mighty way in my life, and I know He can do the same for you.
