"The key to understanding the Bible is to look for Jesus in the Bible. Jesus is the hero of the Bible. If you read the Bible and don't find Jesus, re-read it! The Bible has one hero, His name is Jesus; one villain, that is Satan; one problem, that is sin; one solution, that is salvation. That is what the Bible is all about." -Dr. Adrian Rogers

A Question for JD (8/19/2010)

This may seem a bit annoying and somewhat pushy, but I'm going to do it anyway.

A couple of months ago, an atheist by the name of JD commented on this blog. I responded by saying that I had infallible proof that God exists. However, I told him that he must be willing to give up his sinful lifestyle and follow after Christ if he found that my proof was indeed credible. He told me that he would be a fool not to listen to me, so I told him what I had to say. The challenge was to ask God Himself if He exists. I told him that, if God truly exists and he truly had a repentant heart, God would reveal Himself to him. However, since then, I have not received any type of response from JD.

JD,

If you still read this blog, I would really like to hear from you. I suspect that you have not taken my advice because you would rather remain in the dark as far as the existence of God is concerned so you won't feel the need to turn from your sinful lifestyle. Is that true?

I am not writing this post to point you out as a sinner who is too foolish to admit that God exists, but because I do care about where you spend eternity. If you read this, I would really appreciate your response.

I look forward to hearing from you soon!

-Tommy
