"The key to understanding the Bible is to look for Jesus in the Bible. Jesus is the hero of the Bible. If you read the Bible and don't find Jesus, re-read it! The Bible has one hero, His name is Jesus; one villain, that is Satan; one problem, that is sin; one solution, that is salvation. That is what the Bible is all about." -Dr. Adrian Rogers

What in the World is Going On (8/12/2010)

I recently finished reading What in the World is Going On by Dr. David Jeremiah. Although it did have the tendency to be boring at times, I thoroughly enjoyed reading the book. However, I do feel that the title of the book is somewhat deceiving. If I were to give the book a title, I would title it something like What In the World Will Happen due to the fact that it is mainly a book of prophecy.

It is very clear from reading the book that Dr. Jeremiah has a deep passion for prophecy, and knows it well. Therefore, if you are interested in learning a bit about the end times and what will take place then, you really should read this book. Not only does Dr. Jeremiah provide more than enough information about the days to come, but he gives the Scripture to back it up.

The one thing I missed the most about this book was Dr. Jeremiah's stories. If you read Living with Confidence in a Chaotic World as I did, you know that Dr. Jeremiah is very good at using interesting real life scenarios to illustrate his points. However, this book is mainly just filled with facts.

All in all, I felt that this book more than did its job of providing valuable information about the days to come. I highly recommend it to everyone.
