If you live in my area, you know that we really could use some rain. It has been insanely hot lately, and the last time I remember having rain was about a month ago. Well, tonight--as I was about to get in bed--I heard what sounded like rain outside my window.I am one of the few people I know that actually likes thunderstorms. For the last ten minutes or so, I have been sitting in my room with the curtains open watching and listening to the rain as the lightning lights up my bedroom every now and then.
Even though the rain has stopped now, it was truly a gift from God. Thank You, Lord, for the rain!
