"The key to understanding the Bible is to look for Jesus in the Bible. Jesus is the hero of the Bible. If you read the Bible and don't find Jesus, re-read it! The Bible has one hero, His name is Jesus; one villain, that is Satan; one problem, that is sin; one solution, that is salvation. That is what the Bible is all about." -Dr. Adrian Rogers

The Garbage Pail (6/30/2010)

"Americans have not only reached the bottom of the garbage pail, but we have eaten right on through." -Dr. Adrian Rogers

As I was thinking about what to write tonight, I found the above quote from Dr. Adrian Rogers that I had written down about two weeks ago. I remember driving down the road thinking about the unfortunate truth in that statement. That unfotunate truth is that the entire statement is true. However, the most unfortunate part about it is that no one seems to care.

Well, maybe I'm wrong. Maybe you atheists care. Most Christians (including me) believe that atheists deny God to keep from having to answer for the sin in their lives; and that is true. However, I believe atheists also deny God to keep their minds off of their eternal destination.

I believe that every atheist knows within his heart that God is real and that he will end up in Hell if he does not change. But let me tell you something, being in denial about it will only make it worse. You've read the above quote, this world is literally coming to an end. Not only that, but it's coming to Jesus. Even if you deny His existence, You will stand before Him on Judgment Day.

Please, wake up and take off the blindfold of sin. Come to Jesus today. There is no sin worth going to Hell for.
