"The key to understanding the Bible is to look for Jesus in the Bible. Jesus is the hero of the Bible. If you read the Bible and don't find Jesus, re-read it! The Bible has one hero, His name is Jesus; one villain, that is Satan; one problem, that is sin; one solution, that is salvation. That is what the Bible is all about." -Dr. Adrian Rogers

Slave (12/28/2010)

I have recommended several books before on this blog; however, I have never recommended anything without at least partially reading it first. But I guess there is a first time for everything. Several days ago, I found a book on Amazon.com entitled Slave by John MacArthur. However, because it wasn't actually released until today, I was not able to see inside the book. Today, knowing that it was the books first day in stores, I revisited the sight to see if it would allow me to read part of the book. Although it still would not allow me to preview part of the book, it did have a "trailer" of the book, which I have posted bellow.

As I mentioned in the above paragraph, I wouldn't ordinarily recommend a book that I haven't read yet. However, I have read one of John MacArthur's book before and I am familiar with his teaching. I trust him to stand up for the Word of God and I know that he will not compromise the truth of God's Word. I believe that Slave contains a message that we all need to hear. That is why I am recommending that you buy, read, and share this book with others. Please join me in placing your order for Slave today.
