"The key to understanding the Bible is to look for Jesus in the Bible. Jesus is the hero of the Bible. If you read the Bible and don't find Jesus, re-read it! The Bible has one hero, His name is Jesus; one villain, that is Satan; one problem, that is sin; one solution, that is salvation. That is what the Bible is all about." -Dr. Adrian Rogers

The "Good News for Atheists" (7/18/2010)

Dr. Adrian Rogers used to tell a story of an atheistic father whose child was deathly ill. As the child was on his death-bed, he kept telling the father, "Father, I'm afraid." To that, the father would reply, "It's almost over. Just hold on." Eventually, the child said, "But there's nothing to hold on to."

That atheistic father watched his young child sink into Hell that day--all because he was too foolish to embrace the truth of the Gospel. Friends, the "good news" is that you're wrong, and there is Someone to hold on to.

Heaven is real. Hell is real. And Jesus is the Son of the living God, waiting for you to take off the blindfold of sin and embrace the truth of His Word.

You don't have to be like that child. You can be gloriously saved from your sins today. Just turn completely from all sin today, and trust Jesus to save you.
