"The key to understanding the Bible is to look for Jesus in the Bible. Jesus is the hero of the Bible. If you read the Bible and don't find Jesus, re-read it! The Bible has one hero, His name is Jesus; one villain, that is Satan; one problem, that is sin; one solution, that is salvation. That is what the Bible is all about." -Dr. Adrian Rogers

Prayer Is Praise (4/26/2010)

Do you remember early on in your relationship with the Lord when you could pray for five or ten minutes and run out of words to say? Well, I used to be like that too. Oh, but not anymore. I have found that, instead of running out of words, I now run out of time. God has done so much for me that I just can't stop telling Him how thankful I am. He is so worthy! Now I actually have to stop and make myself pray about/for other situations. Because, if I don't, I can praise Him for hours.

So, the next time you go to the Lord in prayer, spend some time praising Him for all He's done in your life. After all, prayer is praise.
